July NBS Club Potluck/Meeting

This is an early heads up about the July NBS meeting because summer is just around the corner, and you may be making vacation plans. So I hope you will be in town on Saturday, July 20.
Date and Time Change for July Potluck
In July, instead of the usual afternoon study group meeting, we customarily meet on the 3rd Sunday evening for an open house / potluck meal at some member’s house. This year we will meet at Max and Shirley Miller’s house, but we will meet on Saturday, July 20, instead of Sunday, July 21. The hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm
The July meeting is mostly a social meeting where we tour the host’s bonsai collection and share a potluck meal. The focus will be on having fun. You are encouraged to bring your spouse or significant other as well.
Among other things, this will be a good opportunity to see how the grafts that Julian made to my Sea Green Juniper at the April meeting are progressing. Also I have a number of 5 year old Red Maple seedlings that I will be giving away to anyone who is interested.
We will send out another email early in July with details about the meal and driving instructions. Our house is about the same distance from Omaha or Lincoln. It is an easy, scenic drive of about an hour and fifteen minutes.
I know summer is a busy time with vacations and other activities, but I hope you can come.
